Ironically, while previews featuring Jolene Blalock's naked backside may have sparked viewer interest in "Harbinger", the scene was cut more discreetly than the preview aired for the episode last Wednesday on UPN. CBS, which is under the same ownership as UPN, is being investigated for airing excessive nudity during the Superbowl halftime show, which may have prompted a change in the Enterprise episode in the US. Viewers in Canada reported seeing a full view of T'Pol's posterior.

Thomas Kopache previously played Tos, a member of Soval's staff, in "Broken Bow". He has also played numerous other characters on previous Star Trek series, most notably two appearances as Taban, Kira's father, on Deep Space Nine.
