In the later episode
"Zero Hour" the sphere builders on board the Enterprise attacking it wink out of existence when
the subspace anomaly dissapates after they destroy the sphere. In this episode the sphere builder alien not only continues to exist after
being removed from the anomaly, he deterioates for several days before finally vanishing after his attack on the ship. |
