If Trip has to go through Decon after retrieving the Ferengi object (which is bad enough
considering that if he was on a lunar surface, he'd have been in a spacesuit) why wasn't the object in Decon with him?
It had obviously been in the same environment as he had, but it immediately taken into the habitable areas of the ship. |

When in the corridor, Archer asks the Ferengi about his share, while he is carrying two bags.
He goes in through a narrow door with his left side first, but then they show the shot at another angle and we see him going
through with his right side first. |

Archer ruses that Enterprise has a vault full of gold, and the Ferengi get excited,
thinking that he means gold-pressed latinum. Not having heard of latinum, he says that he meant gold bars. Even
though, in the DS9 episode,
"Little Green Men", Quark says that "gold is good," in
"Who
Mourns for Morn", he
calls gold worthless, at least in comparison to latinum. As such, the reaction of these Ferengi is odd. For
some reason, they seem at least equally interested in the gold bars, as they were in the latinum. |

Trip goes through decontamination procedures although he was in a spacesuit on
the lunar surface. The suit's life support systems should be self-contained. |
