Emory refers to the time that the transporter was approved for bio-matter as if it were a long time ago. However, based on a conversation in
"Broken Bow", in which it is revealed that the transporter has been approved for bio-matter, combined with the fact that Enterprise's transporter has only been used frequently as of this season, it would seem as if its approval was more recent. |

Is it possible for a region of space to exist where no stars can be seen? We can see the light from other Galaxies that are billions (or more) of light years away... so it would seem that even if no stars are around for 100 light years you should still be able to see them off in the distance. |

I thought they said in the last episode that it could take years to translate the Kir'Shara, yet here is T'pol reading it, less than a week later. It is possible that they simply meant that the original writings would take years, T'pol could be reading a different translation based on newer texts |

Doctor Phlox tells T'Pol that she has "no sign of Pa'nar Syndrome", a mind melding disease she
contracted in a partially forced mind meld initiated by Tolaris from the Vulcan ship Vahklas in
"Fusion". At an Interspecies
Medical Exchange (IME) conference, Doctor Phlox had gained important information on the disease from the Vulcan Doctor Yuris
working through T'Pol in
"Stigma". T'Pol's career had almost been ruined because the Vulcan High Command considered the
practice of mind melding to be abhorrent to Vulcan culture, but Doctor Yuris, in whom T'Pol had confided, revealed that not
only was he one of the mind melding minority but also that T'Pol had been forced into the mind meld which gave her the disease.
The other Vulcan doctors decided not to bring the fact that T'Pol had this disease to the attention of the Vulcan High Command,
because T'Pol had been an unwilling participant. T'Pol had fought to keep the knowledge of how she had acquired the disease a
secret because she did not want to give in to the prejudice against the mind melding minority. In
"Kir'Shara", T'Pau, a
Syrrannite, performed a mind meld with T'Pol that she claimed would cure T'Pol of the disease. Phlox just confirmed that
this was true and "that similar diagnoses have taken place all over Vulcan. People with Pa'nar are coming forward. It's
no longer a stigma." This will lead to the more common practice of mind-melding among Vulcans as seen first in Star Trek
The Original Series episode,
"Dagger of the Mind". |
