How can Archer be a Starfleet captain, (or even a Starfleet at all for that matter) if he doesn't know
that slowing the ship down will mean it takes longer to reach it's destination? Even a first year cadet should know that. |

If the ambassador actually negiotiated a treaty on Kataan, it would make her
at least 700 years old, since it was established in
TNG that Kataan's inhabitants died 1000 years before the
24th century (700 years before the 21st). Also, the star in that system went nova. A nova would consume the
innermost planets entirely if not all of them. |

Forrest first says the Vulcans are at least a week away, but then tells Archer
to rendezvous with the Vulcan ship in three days. One possible answer is that one week distance for one ship
should be nearly 3 days for two ships, if they meet in the middle. |
