The Coridan ambassador in this episode talks to the minister about trade problems, this Coridan looks very alien with a breathing mask and alien features. However, the Coridans in the episode "Shadows of P'Jem" looks very human with a bumpy forehead - maybe they had a mutgenic virus like the Klingons.
