It is shown in this episode that Andorians have transporter technology. However, in
"The Andorian Incident", Archer asks T'Pol, "Do the Andorians have a transporter?" T'Pol answers "No", and Archer replies
"That gives us the element of surprise", indicating that the Andorians not only do not have a transporter or transporter technology, but would be genuinely surprised that such technology was a tactical concern. Only about three or four years have passed between these time periods. |
