Leland Orser, who plays Loomis, also played the hologram character Dejaren in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Revulsion".

John Billingsley, Anthony Montgomery and Linda Park do not appear in this episode. Dominic Keating does not appear on screen, but a couple voice over lines from him were used.
