Reed and Trip were bound in the cellar on their first evening. Considering the activities of Archer and Hoshi, they must have spent down there more than 24 hours. In that time it seems that at least one waiter would have come down to get some drinks. They must have had a hotel room or somewhere with the rest of their clothes yet they wore only their underwear on the flight back to Enterprise.
