This episode marks Jonathan Frakes's 4th Star Trek series appearance and 3rd in a Star Trek series other than Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In Riker's reviewing of the Pegasus crew manifest, one can see several people who have worked on Enterprise and other Trek series throughout the years, including Ronald Moore and Dawn Velazquez, both producers, and Andy Simonson, art and set designer for Enteprise.

This is the first appearance of the Enterprise-D on Star Trek since its destruction in Star Trek: Generations.
