When Enterprise reaches the 19km sphere, Archer tells his crew to put Enterprise into orbit around it. Since gravity is really minute for a 19km sphere (unless it is extraordinarily dense), the orbit would have to be extremely slow. Yet, outside the view screen, you can view the planet going by at a fast pace.
