Season Four Trivia

TREKCORE > ENTERPRISE > DVDS > Season Four Trivia

Beginning with season 4, the series is being shot with digital cameras, rather than on traditional film.

Jeffrey Combs (Shran/Krem), Gary Graham (Ambassador Soval) and Matt Winston (Daniels) are the only recurring actors to appear in all four seasons.

In "Borderland" a female Augment is named Persis in reference to Persis Khambatta who played Lt. Ilia in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Enterprise is only referred to as The Enterprise once.  This occured in the episode "The Augments".

Originally the character T'Pol was named T'Pau.  They changed it at the last minute; had they used the name T'Pau, they would have been subjected to paying royalties to the writer of the original Star Trek episode that introduced her name. Needless to say royalties paid for every episode of  "Enterprise" would never work.   T'Pau did make an appearance in the three season four episodes of Enterprise as her original character. ["The Forge", "The Awakening", "Kir'Shara"]

Season Four brought back three veteran actors from The Next Generation. One (Brent Spiner) who took on a new persona (Dr. Arick Soong) and two who reprised their old roles (Jonathan Frakes - Commander Riker and Mirina Sirtis - Deanna Troi).
