Season Two is said to have used nearly 2,900 visual effect shots. (Enterprise: Season One held the previous record of 2,700)

John Shiban (The X Files) became a writer and producer for Enterprise. The first episode he penned was "Minefield".

The Space Shuttle Columbia disaster of 1 February 2003, caused very last-minute editing for "Canamar" to remove a scene featuring a spaceship exploding on re-entry.

The repair station computer voice in "Dead Stop" belongs to Roxann Dawson, who also directed the episode.

In 2002, Viacom mandated all its TV series must devote at least one episode to AIDS awareness. The Enterprise episode toward this endeavor (airing February 5, 2005) was titled "Stigma". Stigma revealed that T'Pol had an intimately-transmitted, Vulcan shunned, incurable disease known as Pa'Nar Syndrome.

In "Carbon Creek" T'Pol's great-grandmother gives Velcro to an earth inventor, also in the episode the Vulcan, Mestral remains on earth. The inventor of Velcro was George de Mestral.
